You can edit your profile picture, name, surname, address, email, your primary language of choice … ||| The only thing you cannot edit is your phone number because that's your log-in identifier. If you change your phone number please contact us directly for support at this email HELLO@KLASSROOM.CO or in the chat on the bottom right of this page.

On your mobile App :

Go to settings,

Click on the section with your name and surname,

Edit and save.

On the WebApp klass.ly :

Go to settings, click on the arrow on the right side of your name in the blue section all the way at the top of the page on the right side,

In the drop down menu you can edit your name, surname, email, primary language, you can also edit your profile photo by clicking on the avatar on top of the page on the left side.

What is Klassly ?

Klassly is a communication app for families and schools to connect on a deeper level. The App can be downloaded on the Apple store, google play store, or be used on any internet navigator as a WebApp on https://klass.ly Teachers open an account for free and create a class, then invite parents to join the class, as parents accept their invitation, teachers must again confirm their access.

Klassly feels like a social network. Everyone already knows how to use it. The teacher post on a timeline, invites families and engages them by posting messages, photos, videos, announcements, events, polls… in a private, non intrusive and secure environment. Teachers Teachers can feel validated for their hard work thanks to the families comments and reactions. It looks like a social network but it’s not. It respects the privacy of its users.

On every post, a teacher can request a signature, authorize or not Members to respond (in which case only the teacher will see the response), and can always see which members saw or not the post, and even send a reminder. Members can comment (this can be moderated by the teacher) and react with universal symbols for reactions. Members can easily contact the teacher. Why is my subscription ending now?

When you sign up for a subscription it starts automatically from the moment you enter the license key code. The payment processing period is two months, so you can start using your new subscription and all features included immediately while we await payment to be processed. Once Payment goes through the subscription is extended to the end of your school year.

If it expires two months after you entered the license key code, this means payment wasn't processed.

||| When you sign-up multiple classes in the same school, it's easier to avoid overseeing any classes by creating a group invoice for the school rather than one per class.When you request an invoice, simply state how many classes you'll need a subscription for and that's the number of license keys you'll receive !

The two main reasons your subscription has expired before the end of the school year :

Payment was not sent
Payment was sent but not processed because the invoice reference wasn't forwarded properly. Sometimes the reference is forgotten (it starts with O00) or there was a typo and our automated system didn't recognize the invoice it needed to link the payment to properly.

What is the difference between adding a pin and a bookmark to a post?

A pinned post will appear at the top of your timeline at all times. It is the first post members will see when arriving on the timeline. From the teachers perspective you have a box at the top of your timeline that states "You have … pinned posts" and you can click to see which posts these are. It can be important information you want to keep accessible for the entire school year or for a season.

If you bookmark a post, it's like adding it to a group of favorite posts, it helps you find these posts easily without scrolling through the entire feed. For example, a parent may want to bookmark all the posts their child appears in. to do so, simply click on the three little dots in the top right corner of the post and click "bookmark".

| Pinned posts are visible by all at the top of the timeline, however bookmarks are personal and each member will have their own bookmarked collection of posts that only they can see.

Data usage authorization when you join Klassly

At Klassroom we request consent for the processing of personal and sensitive data from our users when they open an account.

The legal definition of sensitive personal data is presented here. However this does not yet include data that will be present within the App.

There are free fields in Klassly, ie spaces in which users can enter the information they wish. If a parent sends a message to the teacher to let them know that their child is sick and will be absent or that they are not eating pork gelatin, this is considered sensitive data. The only sensitive data that will appear in Klassly will be those that you transmit personally. ${color}[#ff0000](Klassroom recommends that you do not communicate sensitive information on the app, however as this is made possible by the existence of free fields, we must obtain consent from you. Klassroom guarantees not to use this data, nor to carry out any registration of users, this data remains private between the member-users and the teachers (admin-users). However, because these free fields exist in Klassly, the Ministry of French education requested we present to our users what sensitive data actually is and ask users for the authorization to permit them to share said information through the App.)
