# How do I change my status in a class if I selected the wrong one when I joined (ex: Teacher instead of parent)

# How do I change my status in a class if I selected the wrong one when I joined (ex: Teacher instead of parent)?

If you joined the class with the wrong status, the only solution is to leave the class and request to join again. 

To leave the class, click on the three little dots in the top right corner  of your klassly welcome page and select "leave the class".

Once you left the class, simply follow the steps to join it again with the right status this time.
